Description of Events

Part of the Swedish force conducting operations in Pomerania was foraging in some villages south of Fehrbellin when it was attacked by Prussian cavalry. The hussars charged the Swedish cavalry while the dragoons attacked the Västmanlands Infantry who had formed a square. The Swedish cavalry routed but the infantry resisted six consecutive cavalry charges before retreating in good order. The Swedes lost 4 officers and 158 men while the Prussian hussars lost 1 officer and 30 men and the dragoons 2 officers and 120 men.
