Description
On May 26, the Allied army assembled by Ferdinand of Brunswick for his planned offensive on the Lower Rhine was deployed into four distinct camps. It consisted of about 40,000 men (42 bns, 59 sqns and some light troops). The remainder was left behind along the line of communications. The bulk of the Hanoverian Jäger Corps was probably accompanying this army.
