Description

On September 18, 1759, when Field Marshal von Pfalz-Zweibrücken heard of the advance of Finck’s Prussian army on Dresden, he threw 16 bns into Dresden under FML von Kolb and set off from Wilsdruff with the rest of the Austro-Imperial army to support Hadik and attack the Prussians.

N.B.: the garrison of Dresden has been “reconstructed” by simple elimination, based on the Austro-Imperial army order of battle at the beginning of August (all infantry rgts not specifically mentioned in the field army on September 18 with the exception of those captured at Leipzig).
