Origin and History
In August 1759, major Fabritius raised a battalion for garrison duty at Stralsund. It consisted of men unfit for field service from the infantry and artillery regiments. It initially counted 701 men. In May 1760, it counted 502 men; in January 1761, 272 men; in December 1761, 148.
During the Seven Years' War, the regiment was commanded by:
- since August 1759: Fabritius
The battalion was disbanded at the beginning of 1762.
Service during the War
From August 1759, the battalion garrisoned Stralsund.
